Computer System Upgrade (Servicing)

Service Details:
A certified CPUtopia technician will remove from your old computer and install it into a new barebone or system purchased from our store. The technician will also transfer and configure your current operating system and drivers. Please check out our systems and barebones section for current deals. Upgrade your system today!!

Shipping Options:
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to and from us. Shipping is automatically calculated based on your zip code for return service of your computer via UPS. For an additional fee, CPUtopia will generate you a UPS Electronic label. An email will be sent to you directly from UPS with information on printing your address label. You can print the label and place it on your packaged computer to return to us. The package can be dropped off at any UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet (including all UPS Stations, UPS Stores, etc.) or handed to a UPS Driver. Please note that this method requires you to have access to a printer in order to print the label. Please take care packaging your computer before shipping as computers can be easily damaged without proper packaging. For return services, our expert shippers will work carefully to package your computer to prevent damage to the system and internal components.

Data Backup Options:
Data backup is available for an additional fee. You can have a technician backup up your important data and files from your hard drive onto a DVD. When sending your system to us, please include a note specifying the file or folders that you would like backed up. An external drive conversion option is also available. A technician will remove your hard drive from your system and install it into an external drive case. In case your computer is damaged beyond repair, this will allow you to access your data from another computer via a USB or Firewire port. The external enclosure is included in the servicing fee. Enclosures are available in USB and Firewire/USB interfaces.
